I logged onto esea...then joined a server....played in it for a while...then my mouse started doing these wierd movements....when i move my mouse up very slightly the crosshair goes all the way up and looks at the sky immediately....when i move my mouse down a little bit the crosshair goes all the way down and looks at the ground immedietely.......

Things I've already tried:

-restarting steam

-checking my mouse sensitivity out and in game

-rebooting computer

-re-installing cs

-tried using a different mouse

I had cpl mouse fix installed and it worked perfectly....this issue only happens when i'm playing cs..and when i'm not playing, the mouse is fine....I'm using a logitech g5 and i've had it for less then a year so i'm thinking it's a problem with steam..

What do you guys think the problem is?

never heard of such a problem, try consulting esea forums if noone has an answer here, they're usually good with problems like it.

P.S: I hate esea i always get baited.

m_forward "1"
m_pitch "0.022"
m_side "0.8"

sounds like your pitch or yaw is screwed

well.. I used to have the same problem with my old mouse.. but not with my new one..

yea I have mouse problem too!
since my good microsoft mouse does I'm using shitty HP mouse that came with my comp,
when I play it's ok but when I leave it it starts shaking and cursor slides down :/
do u know what's wrong with it?
is it mouse or software related?

are u using a mousepad??  cuz if the sourface is very slice or very reflective that can be the problem...

if not..   the shitty mice have a led instead a laser (optical mice) to trak the movementso.. so..the precision is weak and tend to get fucked up really quickly.. also are afected for any kind of light.. I have a shitty optical mouse and sometimes gets own life and tend to go up lol..

and is not only when u leave the game I think..    if ur mouse starts shaking and going down..  go in game and put the max sensitive and I maby u will see the same movement...   I know this cuz I used to play with 12 of sensitive and my mouse used to have own life .. now I play with 3 and  I cant really notice it..

Thanks for the replies guys!!...Turns out that i just needed to delete my config and user config.....so if you have this problem or something similar try doing this...

yea I do use mouse pad, good one too

it's funny how my mouse screws me over in pugs xD
