well it seems like something is constantly coming up, i know you have all noticed the unbearable lag the past week..


i have been working with tech support to try and get this shit resolved, but all i have managed to do thus far is get a general idea of why its happening...


the techies are saying that their network is showing no errors, and i believe them, the problem seems to be with the actual drive on my box.. since i dont have a full dedicated machine, the drives are shared. so someone else on the box is taking up the bandwidth... thats it in laymans terms.




right now, i dont know what im going to do. i am most likely going to have to upgrade to a dedicated machine.. which is at least twice as much as im paying now. honestly, i dont know if i can make the payments if i do that.. im having enough trouble as it is...

and you know i hate asking for money  so i dont know guys..

well i dont know how ppl will like this but:

come on  guys, we all are here like family, everybody is enjoying play here...... so i think everybody can help lil bit just with few $$$. i dont know how many players we got here but if couple ppl who used to play here send small portion of money..... couple bucks...... it will be helpfull.......

if no one can donate..... sad..... but stop asking whats with the servers and when it will be ok......

well according to psychostats...we have over eighteen thousand players on our two cs servers alone... that's not counting the always full halo server..

well, I'm done hosting with company's, I'm going to take matters into my own hands and host with my own hardware, I have been talking to a couple different datacenter managers here in phoenix and I can get a slot for my server box with the speed I need for around $150 ish per month.. once my new job starts up in 2 months I shouldn't have a problem covering the payment...but right now its impossible

I already paid for the next month of my vps, but there's no way I can continue hosting off it... its just not fast enough with the disk load they have on the server... I went through every option and I have been wracking my head for the past few days trying to come up with a solution..

Its either upgrade to a rented dedicated machine with my current provider, or quit them and use my own hardware which is twice as fast and the same price per month, within reason...

So I mean, the obvious choice would be to use my hardware and avoid the problems of renting...



edit: i can get my box going for the first two months for $150, so if we can get like six people to donate $25 we should be in good shape until i can get back on my feet..

so far, i have been told i will be receiving $50 from a member here on infuzion, so we only need $100 more..

trevor u should put a msg at the center of the screen in the server ingame that members should donate to upgrade the servers , info at iz.com , maybe someone will check it out and make this shit possible .
