well as some of you know, infuzion has been hosting pick up games almost every night lately... these matches occur on our 10 slot cs server, and our previous v2 teamspeak voice server.
as of today, we are now using teamspeak version 3. what does this mean for you (players)?
-you will need to download the newest teamspeak client, you can get it here:
http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads-connecting to the server is very easy, just use the hotkey "ctrl+s" or alternatively you may click "Connections, connect"
--enter the information as follows;
---address: voice.izgs.info
---port: 9987
---nickname: (any nickname)
---password: (leave this blank...)
-once you fill in these fields, click connect. you will now be in the server, and you can surf the various channels and talk with other members.
the codecs on the new server are of the highest quality, you should notice the difference in voice quality immediately. we plan to continue hosting matches every night, the rules are posted in the teamspeak channel descriptions but i will post them here as well.
PUG rules are as follows:
In order to play, we require that you have a microphone, and a steam account with counter-strike 1.6
Pick Up Games work as follows:
1. all players choose a team
2. all players knife for captain, if you are killed then you must move to spectator
3. play until there are only two players left
4. the last two players to be alive verse eachother for first pick
if you are going to leave mid-match, please have a substitute ready.
if your mic sounds like shit, please try to talk slow and not yell, it doesnt help us to understand what you are saying.
regular TS and game-server rules apply to scrimmages, this includes no bitching, hacking, spamming, etc...
