My Cousin installed that annoying Soccejam mod that displays Soccerjam Links on my main
Counter strike menu.

Now how do you get rid of these annoying things?

if hes on steam , enter the steam account on C and delete counter strike folder and start cs again , i think this should help , but he will loose all the maps and the shit he had .

ahh, fuck.. i can't remember which file it is that controls the GUI.. damnit


deleting the cs folder will clean it out, along with your settings and custom content


mine is located in:

D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\carbon14c\counter-strike

delete "counter-strike", everything will go back to default and you won't have to download the whole game... your user name will be in place of "carbon14c"

it'll still have counter-strike folder in it.

are you talking about having the classic style menus in every server? if so, you can change an option and get the newer GUI back..

open "GameMenu.res" with a text editor such as notepad.


replace EVERYTHING in that file with this;
