No, this isn't a problem with the Laptop I use for main cod4 access, but the problem is with my desktop...

I CANNOT RUN cod4.

How does it goes:
-Cod4 logo goes up... wait..... wait.... error problem.

System: Windows XP Service pack 2 (yeah, finally service pack 2 )
Directx: 9
Bullshit program had a faulty data. >_>

okay, have you tried running XP SP3? .net framework? updated graphics drivers? patched the game up to the latest edition? run in safe mode?

2 unpayed: anyway try to update ur video card drivers, chipset..... and sp2 to sp3
do u have any problems running other games? did u even try to play other games on it?
if it doesnt help, give me hardware info

->Its having the same errrors like when I first run iw3mp.exe in my laptop before, but in this case, I cant do the process to check if its that problem...

Video card: Don't know, Does not have Nvidia shader (cant run some games)

Other notes: Can run some games,
Games so far "2008-2010" era that will run and not run:
Resident evil 4- Lag-like problems, Playable, but its pure lagged.
Medieval total war 2- lacks a Pixil shader (whatever that is)
