Hey guys.
I would like to propose an idea to you.  I love CTF on Halo CE Blood Gulch but Slayer is alot more fun on Halo 2.  I believe that a Halo 2 dedicated server would be a valuable asset to infuziongaming.  When I'm not playing CTF HaloCE, I play halo2, online using on tunngle (a p2p Virtual Private Network).
This is very easy to do and sometimes there are a lot of players playing on the Halo 2 Tunngle chat/game room (depending on the time of day)...
There is a problem though.... If someone is hosting a game and too many people join, it will LAG very bad if the person doesn't have good upload speed or good internet connection.  This results in dropped games and alot of 'establishing connection' messages while playing.  The end result is a bunch of people hosting and 2 or 3 more playing with them.... never more than 5 at a time.  That really sucks!  No team slayer.... don't even think about CTF...
This would be resolved if everyone just joined a single dedicated server to play together!  NO MORE LAG!

If you have no idea what I'm saying, or would like to know more about Tunngle, please watch this video. (it explains EVERYTHING):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZMR0lrhkgQ

Pros:
-Halo 2 already has a built in dedicated server creator.  Setting this up would be no hassle at all.  Just run the dedicated server creator from the disc or .ISO of the game and  violá.  A 24/7 Halo 2 server!
-Anyone and everyone will be able to play on this server by watching the video I provided the link to (above).
-Very easy to set up...... I have done this many times when playin' on LAN parties at my friends houses.  Setting a dedicated server on halo 2 is a piece of cake!
-Absolutely NO LAG.
-We would be able to play Halo 2 online for FREE!

Cons:
-I dont think there are any cons in setting this up!

So, what do you think Genesis.  Would Halo 2 be a worthy addition to InfuzionGaming.com?
How about the rest of you guys.  Do you like the idea of playing halo 2 on infuziongaming?
I would love to hear your opinions on this matter guys!

PS:  I have experience on Tunngle and know how to set things up.  It would be my pleasure to help in the initial setting up and actual administration of the server.  It is my goal to make and keep infuziongaming fun and fair for all.  Also I am willing to make a video explaining how to set up Halo 2 and upload everything needed to a file hosting site.  This way, everyone would be able to find all in one single place and set up halo 2 on their PC's without any problems whatsoever.

Halo 2 Vista is a dead game. it has so many bugs and glitches it's rediculous. the players online reach 70 on a GOOD DAY. i would play it if we had server but i don't think us putting up one is a good decision.

Really?  You don't think it's a good idea?
--- Darn, Crash and Burn---
Maybe you could give it a test drive for a few days and see if it's worth it...  What do you got to lose?
Anyway,  I was playing earlier and someone made a temporary dedicated server (called H2server Cheesy ... yes it even had the smiley face lol!)..... it was great with no lag and lots of players playing at the same time.  I'm sure more would come if there was some kind of server running 24/7 like on halo CE.
Anyway, I don't know what bugs you are talking about... the superjumps?  I believe those were taken out of the pc version (because I can't seem to do them on the pc...  and I bet that the latest halo 2 update on microsoft.com/games/halo2  (needed to play halo on tunngle) addresses some of the issues you may be refering to.

Well, thanks for hearing me out at least. Cry
Have a nice day.
