I got from Piratebay a month ago...

By the time I got it, It was slow to make a map (and usually freezing) and there was no character model selection...
Is this normal for Source?

-No character model selection (SAS, Seal team, Guerilla, Phoenix)
-Crappy AI (On Office, they run into a wall, even fixed their AI file and still didnt work)

So whats with the deal, or do I have to waste 6 Hrs again to Torrent another one?

the bots in css are really dumb, i'm fairly certain you can install third party bots for that game


when you say make a map, you mean to load a game? and the model selection... can you show me a screenshot?

Since Im watching a vid atm moment and I cant scream: ITSA WTF x.x

loading/make a Map: Usually takes 1-2 minutes, unlike CS1.6 where it takes about less than 10 seconds or so. 5 seconds if you loaded a map earlier. Map feels Choppy, unlike Cs 1.6 where its better.

model/Class selector from CS:

My CSS doesnt have this... Is this normal?

so your css is using a classic text menu instead of the GUI? try changing it in the settings.

okay, i just looked through my css settings, i cant seem to find the toggle option for the model select menus? could you show me a screenshot of what your model select looks like..




when you say it feels choppy, are you referring to your gameplay? try lowering the visual effects, antialiasing can really kill your FPS in the hl2 engine. map loads have always taken me a long time, try defragging your game-drive. that can help your load speeds immensely

Heck, I'm bad with these GUI things. Will it still work if I replace those files with my CS1.6's (They have CZ's things)?
