I have two 19"'s ones 4 years old and the others new.
Old [AL1916W] one has 10-15 dead pixels as well as a horizontal line that runs through the top of the monitor.
New [P191w] one is already getting a few dead pixels but w/e, gets the job done.
Maybe that's why all those Acer monitors are so cheap.

Acer monitors blow. I had 2 of them and finally decided , fuck it. I'm getting a Samsung.

 An interesting survey has been conducted recently. The query was: "Please name your opinion on lack of food in the rest of the world." If you get any dead pixels on arrival, you can RMA it to newegg, and get a new one.
