I work for a Voice company, And I can get you guys a free ventrillo maybe server once we expand.. We've sponsored some cevo-main/i teams but if a community this big could promise to use the ventrillo and help put our name out there then maybe.. just maybe I can get you a 50+ ventrillo and a server if all works..

Vertex runs their server/website/vent from their box and they never lag for me at all.

where am i going to find someone to host a quadcore box [which they will give me for free] and a 10mb upstream?


most gaming centers do not have that high of a connection... and i can guarantee you EVEN IF i did find a center willing to give me that box and the bandwidth, there would be lots of requirements and shit they would probably wont me to link everyone to their website or advertise for them

bmp had a free dedicated server in downtown houston from a local lan center just for being good at counter dash forces. 15ms ping and full access. the lan center was in the suburbs, but the owner had a box @ downtown. NERDS HAVE SHIT

yeah it's not so hard. just try to push for shit. it's just like trying to get a high paying job. it's amazing what some people will do for others just as long as you do it right. lol, and i can totally understand phoenix. that's where old people retire. aka: they won't spend shit for anyone else. not to mention that's not a major bandwidth point; if you lived in Colorado, California, or Dallas,TX you would definitely have a different story. i don't mean to demean what you're trying to do, i just know there are cheaper ways to get to it. also i mostly post on these forums rambling drunk.

it's actually REALLY easy to get a free ventrilo. me and some friends used a free one for well over a year for cs and WoW without ever being bothered. just get the main dns ip's that all the server companies use (they use easy shit like voice.servercompany.com), then start with a low port # and start going up. eventually u will find one that nobody uses anymore I don't think this is necessary for IZ but it's an obvious tip for other cs goers.
