I am thinking for getting a new graphics card....my old one is shit and is only letting me get about 60fps-100fps in cs 1.6 servers.  I was thinking in either getting the EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX or the HIS Radeon HD4890. What do you guys think....

Try the BFG Tech GTX 280 from Nvidia,  that's what I run, and lemme tell you...it runs :]

i don't need 4.....1 or 2 should do the job...when i get the money i'll gradually increase it to 4....i think i've made about $700....so imma prolly get a gtx 9800....and a better sound card, preferably this one: razor with Razer Barracuda IAS.. and to go with it imma get this headset The Razer Barracuda HP-1 9......after that gotta start hustling for my new monitor...and who knows what's next

Anyways I was gunna quote peters post on the GTX 280, its good and everything peters right but save your money and get the gtx 260 it runs almost exactly the same its just the underdog. But hell I agree with what trevor said get the wallmart headset and save your money there's really no need to get such an expensive headset unless your into audio/visual editing like me. And if your feeling really badass get dual 260s and SLI that shit up

Genius HS-04U , its amazing and so powerful and clear , its like 40 dollars only , no need for more expensive headset , tho if i was in usa couldv bought the newest logitech headset , its fucken amazing.
