im finally getting a laptop. i havnt had one since sixth grade, and i've been very mobile lately and that will only get worse as time goes on since i have no school.

i have done lots of searching, i have narrowed it down to two models.

i dont need a ultra1337superfastmegapwnage system, i need something relatively small yet capable of holding music, getting on the net, cam/voice chat, instant messaging, etc. no gaming, no video editing, maybe the occasional pic edit or music conversion to syn up an ipod/zune but other than that, just basic stuff.

naturally, my needs would suggest a netbook/eee pc. oh, my budget is ~300$. here's what i got:

yeah, as far as reviews go.. that is what the general consensus seems to be.

i am strongly leaning towards the wind, since the retail is more [the actual price is lower], it seems to be a better quality machine.

plus the reviews are all 5/5 lol

I'd go with the MSI.

The specs are almost all the same but the MSI looks much more sleeker, other one looks too big.
Plus it weighs less which I think is worth it if your going for a 10inch screen.

$10 more for a better laptop imo.

An interesting survey has been conducted recently. The query was: "Please name your opinion on lack of food in the rest of the world."

The survey was a total failure, because.. in Africa, nobody knew what "food" means! .. in Europe, nobody knew what "lack" means! .. in Eastern Europe, nobody knew what "opinion" means! .. in South America, nobody knew what "please" means! .. and in the USA, nobody knew what "rest of the world" means!

well, i have been gaming on it for a couple days.. i love it.

worth every penny... the webcam is awesome high quality, the battery is great, its small, doesnt heat up too much, very fast [once i got rid of vista]

so far i have run c&c ra2/yuri's revenge, gta sa/vice city, all hl1 mods including cs1.6 (30-60 fps very stable except when there are nades flying all over)

for anyone who is looking for a good laptop capable of gaming, i recommend this. i love mine :]
