 I am looking into buying a new pc for gaming only.. i just want something around $600 that will run cs 1.6 perfectly with no lagg and always run at 100fps..

Recommeneded you get a dual core and over clock it. That will keep you going. For the gfx cartd I recommended a NVIDIA 8800 its a pretty good card for a decent price too. Get 2 gigs of ram and a 250 gig hard drive. And you should be set, keep in mine if you want to play better games like Crysis or Burnout Paradise you will need a better gfx card and more ram
