I broke my game messing with the config file. Does anybody have an original or modified config or userconfig files that I can copy/paste?

|
if u want an original config , u can delete the config.cfg file in ur cstrike folder , and run cs , it will generate new cfg , if u want another modified configs , u can google it , easy , or enter here http://ftp.clv-gui.de/index.php , u can find anything u want from configs , tutorials anything related to cs , or u can visit www.sk-gaming.com , where u can search for pro cfg like spawn , walle and others visiting their profiles where it contains their configs , u just need to extract it to ue cstrike folder , and replace it if needed and its done. |

Or u can take flashkaas personal config. Theres a thread about it and it improves your gameplay really good with appropriate settings. For rates and stuff u can ask kaos personal help. He can find the exact rates depending on ur internet speed.

yeah lyfe ur right , although flashka use rate 9999 , where the common good rates are rate 2500 cl_cmdrate 101 cl_updaterate 101 , lately i found myself with rate 300 , cmdrate 300 , updaterate 80 ,ex_interp 0.05 ,idk but it made my aim better , also u can see the rate tutorial it may help u .

cl_cmdrate 101 ( Highest Value , anything lower and your interp get forced to 0.33 or 0.1 ) cl_updaterate 101 ( Highest Value , anything lower and your interp gets forced to 0.33 or 0.1 ) ex_interp .01 ( extremely important , 0.1 , 0.33 , and 0.5 = Laggy Hitboxes , causing something called "interping" as luzers call it. rate 25000 ( max rate for 1.6 , anything higher causes you to lose packets , causing lag spikes and loss of reg ) fps_max 101 ( anything higher than 101 and below 101 slows your game down ) Just download the cevo gui , It forces correct rates, learning to play with correct rates is good. All major leagues and LAN's require these rates , so if you plan to go cevo or eco , you better use these rates or you can get DQ'ed or suspended.
