Hey, well I noticed a couple of users here don't know how to record a demo so I decided to give them a tutorial.

1. Press '~' to bring down the console screen.
2. Now type "record" without quotes and following with the name you want to give to your demo/video (Ex. record hacker), press enter.
3. Press '~' again to exit the console.
4. Now start playing and everything you play will be recorded.
5. To stop the recording, bring down the console and just type "stop" without quotes.
6. To view the demo that you just recorded, bring down the console and type "play hacker" without quotes. Here "hacker" represents your filename which you used to save the video.
7. To stop viewing the demo, bring down the console and type "stopdemo".

Uploading your demo file:
Demo files are usually quite small in size and quick to upload, some sites I recommend to upload your demo to are;
www.mediafire.com/
www.zippyshare.com/

Hopefully this will help out the community, please feel free to refer people who don't know how to record a demo here.

or u can use CEVO GUI 3.0 , it have when u press "h" an option to record a demo
wich appears in ur screen , when u type the name of the demo , no need to use the console , and when u need to stop it u press "h" again and stop , the demo will stop.

An interesting survey has been conducted recently. The query was: "Please name your opinion on lack of food in the rest of the world."

The survey was a total failure, because.. in Africa, nobody knew what "food" means! .. in Europe, nobody knew what "lack" means! .. in Eastern Europe, nobody knew what "opinion" means! .. in South America, nobody knew what "please" means! .. and in the USA, nobody knew what "rest of the world" means!

CEVO GUI rocks, been using it for a while.

Nice guide though I guess, it's explained everywhere on the internet.

easier

bind key "messagemod record"

so.. u press the binded key and the word "record:" apears in ur left corner  (like when u press y that apears "say:"  )    then just write the name of the demo...

for example:

bind f7 "messagemode record"

you press f7

then u will see   record:

and u just write the name of the demo and press enter Smiley  and yeah..

you are recording a demo right now.. Smiley
