I know im a week or two late on this.. but i have not had internet or electricity for most of this month.
to make this simple, this thread is about the new modern warfare release... infinity ward (the developer) has majorly fucked over pc gamers. here is how:
-no dedicated servers, multiplayer runs solely through iw.net matchmaking system. like a console game...
-you HAVE to use steam. the game is 100% steam... you can buy a cdkey and preload disks, but you need steam to play it....
so basically, they took a steam-independent release and ruined it. not only did they do that, they took away dedicated servers.
no.. dedicated.. servers
if you are not a console gamer, you should know what that means...
so, even though the steam part is un fixable, there is a slight possibility activision will take action on the dedicated servers issue (i doubt it..)
