As you can see, our servers are currently ALL offline. sometime last night (wed, november 11th 2009) the box that i host everything on [except for this website, for obvious reasons], "restarted" to install updates for windows.



Today, the box is offline. after a long conversation with tech support (that is still going...), i find out that the windows installation somehow became corrupted, and the server will not start...



At this point i am trying to get everything backed up, but tech support is working on the VPS as i am writing this.. i will update this thread as soon as i have more information.



So far the worst case scenario would be no servers until sunday morning... i already have plans for friday and i cant cancel them as much as i want to in order to resolve this.

the best case would be all servers online by tomorrow morning, maybe tonight depending where you live.



edit - tech support advised me to send a ticket in requesting a new VPS be built, attaching the old drive with my data on it. we'll see how it goes from here, i am waiting on an email reply so there is literally nothing i can do at this point

UPDATE

the MFT on the c drive of the box was corrupted, long story short i got the host to make a new VPS with the same IP's and hook up the old hard drive so i could grab the files off the old drive and put them onto the new ones...

everythings back to normal now
